A short offset, 2 part multi, with the final cache less than 1/4 mile away.
It was recently stated in a log for one of my other caches that I was “master of intrigue and invention!”.
So I thought I'd better invent something intriguing!
So another electronic gadget.
All you have to do is hold in three seperate buttons and the coordinates will be revealed.
(But which three buttons??)
The cache is located at N51 25.??? W001 12.???
So, how do you find the remaining six digits?
1. Find the large size container from the coords listed at the top of the page.
2. Remove the waterproof lid and take the "machine" out. (No tools required.)
3. Press the “test” button, this will (should!) light up a small red LED just to show everything is working OK (If it doesn’t please let me know). You will not need this button again.
4. From the remaining nine buttons, keep selecting three different buttons until the blue (Northings) or white (Westings) LEDs light up.
5. The numbers on the buttons you have to press to get either LED lit are, when read from left to right, the last three digits of the Northings or Westings coordinate.
6. Repeat steps 4 & 5 until you get the other LED lit. These are the remaining three digits you need to complete the coordinates for the location of the small size cache.
**PLEASE replaced the lid on the container properly so it remains waterproof.**
If you work through the options in a logical sequence it shouldn’t take you too long. However if you just stab randomly at the buttons you could be there a while!!
