H is for HIPS
which means Hidden In Plain Sight. A geocache that is HIPS is usually easily seen by muggles that don’t realize what they are looking at. Sometimes HIPS geocaches are not even readily seen by geocachers.
Somethings hidden in plain sight are:
Scattered across the United States are a network of mysterious concrete arrows. They are often found in remote locations or areas difficult to access. Some will be accompanied by a small shack, a few have a metal tower affixed to their base. Many are in good condition while others have succumbed to nature. These arrows of varying shape and direction that are hidden in plain sight were installed:
