This is most likely to be, by far, the most difficult geocache that you will ever attempt. The cache is located in an old abandoned quarry.

At the bottom of the quarry is a pool. Getting to the pool requires a seven mile hike.

During the hike you will have to wade through a swamp.

Be on the lookout for the many alligators.

The pool is surrounded by a 20 foot cliff. Don’t jump! There are many rocks just below the surface of the water.

You must repel down the cliff to reach the pool so bring your climbing gear.

Once that you’re in the pool you will have to dive down about 10 feet at the base of the cliff and enter an underwater tunnel that leads to a cave.

Scuba gear would be most helpful here.

It is pitch black inside the cave so don’t forget to bring a powerful flashlight.

Your GPS is useless inside the cave so I wrote a puzzle on the wall. Solving the puzzle will give you directions to where the cache is hidden.

I didn’t want to leave a bunch of visible graffiti so I wrote the puzzle using invisible ink. You’ll need an ultra violet light in order to read the puzzle.

The cache is hidden high up in the stalactites so you’ll need a long extension pole with a hook in order to reach it.

The best way to get back to the top of the cliff is to climb the tall pine tree next to the cliff. Shift your weight towards the cliff when you reach the top of the pine tree. The tree will bend and you will be able to step off of the tree and onto the ground above the cliff.

This is a dangerous area so be careful. There are human skeletons from previous cache attemps in the quarry.

I would strongly suggest that you bring a friend with you for safety.

I wish you lots and lots of luck. You’ll be needing it.
