Was doing a bit of the Waterview Bike trail the other week. with my grandsons from Wellington...and found this good place to hide a cache !
And maybe you can also find this while biking the newish trail ! The short rainbow trail is nearby too .
I am not sure what the circular area was ... please tell me if you know !
I am sure you Aucklanders know this used to be The Oakley Psychiatric Hospital...earlier kown as the Avondale Asylum.
Now it is the site of Unitec. There is even a free bike repair station with pump near here ...
If you have time, I highly reccomend the Oakley Creek Walkway ....More caches there too !
You will easily see my obvious hiding place .....reach right in ! No need to demolish any walls here ....It was like this already .
