This cache should be a pretty straight-forward find. I've been trying to work more and more on quality hides, but this location just kinda needed something simple!
You can park easily at gz, just be sure to pull off the road safely. Enjoy!
This cache is a nod to one of my favorite authors as a kid: Beverly Cleary! I think you'll understand why when you get close to the cache. You might not be able to find Klikitat Street in Lake Alfred, but I think Henry Huggins, Beatrice, Ramona, and Ribsy could have just as easily have lived right on this quiet street too!
For any Beverly Cleary fans out there, an interesting note about the name Ramona in the books: according to Beverly herself, when she was writing the book introducing her character, she happened to hear a neighbor call out "Ramona!" just as she was considering what to call "Beezus'" little sister. The rest, as they say, is history!
Feel free to talk about a favorite Beverly Cleary book (if you have one) in your log--although this is certainly not a requirement for finding this cache!
