Looking at my caching karma recently, combined with my recent (thanks to Geocaching!) love of exploring all the Bay Area trails compelled me to give back. So I'm creating this Johnny Appleseed series, sprinkling caches all along the trails closest to home.
This cache is in Fremont Older on the Rainbow Knoll trail. If you don't know what a Toyon (Heteromeles arbutifolia) bush looks like, you will after finding this cache. You'll find them all over the park, but only on the west coast of California. You're looking for a camo'd test tube hanging.
