Looking at my caching karma recently, combined with my recent (thanks to Geocaching!) love of exploring all the Bay Area trails compelled me to give back. So I'm creating this Johnny Appleseed series, sprinkling caches all along the trails closest to home.
This cache is in Fremont Older, but just barely, just within the border marker on the northern edge of the park. The views over suburban Cupertino are quite scenic from this part of the park. I'm not sure if going through this gate is considered entering private property or not; it implies so but I've seen this sign on other trails that are still within public land, but I didn't explore. No need to cross the border to find this cache.
