Looking at my caching karma recently, combined with my recent (thanks to Geocaching!) love of exploring all the Bay Area trails compelled me to give back. So I'm creating this Johnny Appleseed series, sprinkling caches all along the trails closest to home.
This cache is in Fremont Older on the Toyon Trail. I'm not sure what to think about all these eucalyptus trees in the park. They have their own beauty, but they are not native and are taking over many other habitats as they are quite hearty and spread rapidly. Well, if nothing else, their bark does a good job hiding caches. If that doesn't give you enough of a hint on this one, a bit more is encrypted below.
