Geocache Description:

This is a fairly small aluminium container with a ring on the top.

Please bring your own pen or pencil as this cache is very small and doesn't provide one.

One of Garstang's most famous and iconic things is its castle, it was originally built in 1490 and is now a ruin. The castle was designed by Thomas Stanley and the 1st Earl of Derby. It was originally built as defence for Garstang.

The cache can be found just near where you would observe the castle, although be extremely cautious when finding it, make sure to have a strong eye on muggles as it is a very popular area for tourists to visit. Please make sure you put it back exactly where you found it and try to make sure that it won't get stuck under the grass, especially in summer when everything is overgrown. Also the parking only goes to certain point so it is either recommended to park on the side of the road next to the sign or on the side of the main road.

Happy Caching.
