This cache is now relatively easy to access and find and can be done within 15 minutes. Ideal for doing with kids with parking and easy access generally. Makes for a nice short walk!
This cache is located in this peaceful recreational community park area called 'Mornington Meadow'. The idea to put a cache here was thought up by my young nephews, Max and Harry when I spent a day with them in the school holidays introducing them to Geocaching. We visited a number of caches in the Lytham area and visited Lytham McDonalds for lunch.
Max and Harry recalled having previously found a 'Secret Park' near to McDonalds and thought it a great place to hide a new cache.
Update: August 2021 The cache has been relocated as the area where the cache was originally located has now been sealed off and is inaccessible from the park. The cache is now located within the main park area and easy to get to. (No more brambles and tree branched to manoeuvre!)

Mornington Meadow Development 2011
In 2011 the £200,000 community-led project transformed the tired Mornington Road recreational field into an enjoyable green space for all ages.
A two-zoned play area was constructed with swings, slides and a climbing area for younger children and more adventurous equipment for the older with a climbing frame and a bell pole. Teenagers are able to have fun on the new aerial glider as well as take part in team games such as football and basketball in the all weather multi-use games area. There is also be a sensory garden, new benches throughout the garden and recreation area and a path connecting each section of the park to enable easier access around the site for pushchairs and wheelchair users.
