This cache is to bring you to a National Natural Landmark right inside of White Lake State Park. Here is one reference: https://www.nhstateparks.org/uploads/WhiteLake_NaturalLandmark_2010.pdf The container is a camou painted preform, very near, but not in, a large pitch pine. The parking is for an access road to the state park that does not require any fee and is plowed in the winter. The given coords are at a gate, open in the winter for snowmobiles, then closed in the summer so cars do not drive on it. One can reach the Pitch Pine Trail in two ways: walk down the snowmobile trail to the Black Spruce Trail (coords given). Then, at the two intersections, turn left. OR, you can park at the lake and walk along the Perimeter Walk, to the Pitch Pine Trail. Either way, snowshoes will be needed when the snow is deep along the hiking trails.
When you walk along the Pitch Pine Trail, keep your eyes open, there are reportedly Pitch Pines with 2 foot diameter trunks. If you find a big one, post the coordinates for others, including me, to enjoy.
