It's that time of the year again where we lay our heads under the stars, yep it's Geo-Camping, UFO style.
This year Geocamping will be held in Lough Key, Boyle, Co. Roscommon. A well known UFO hotspot.
Official event: Saturday 14th July 2018
from 6pm - 6.30pm in the "rec room" at the campsite.
Absolutely everybody is welcome, from seasoned geocachers, to newcomers!
You don't need to be staying at the campsite to attend the event!
Continuing on from last years themed event, this year will be UFO themed & there could be a special prize for the best dressed 
Camping will be available from Friday 13th July & Saturday 14th July & longer if required!
There is plenty to do in & around the Lough Key grounds itself & there might be Crystal Maze type adventure planned for the Saturday morning but all that will be revealed soon. Take a look at Lough Keys official website.
If you are staying in Lough Keys campsite then you can book your stay through Lough Keys official website.
Please book through the official website for tents or campervans, you need to mention that you are part of the "geocamping" group so you can be provided with a pitch reserved for us. Alternatively you can call Joe on 071 9673122 from Wednesday to Saturday.
Dogs are permitted on the campsite & throughout the grounds bar the visitors centre & must be kept on a lead. Please note the attributes on the cache page, it could come in handy 
If you are not camping you can still attend, all you have to do is turn up at the coords at the time above. Visitors are welcome at the campsite for our event, but you might need to park outside the campsite, there is ample parking but you will need to pay a €4 fee to get out of the main carpark if you park there. Could you please log a "will attend" so we can cater for numbers.
If you are not a fan of camping then there are plenty of other accomodation options available in nearby Carrick On Shannon & Boyle.
