Whale Beach is named after the headland you can see from the beach, the headland looks like a whale so the name oringinated from its whale like shape. If you head here between April and December you may catch a glimpse of these guys breaching out to sea , as well as dolphins surfing the waves. There is a great pool for swimming and great surfing at the north end of the beach. Head to the south end of the car park to look for this guy in a clear plastic box.
