On May 5, 2015, a lunchtime stop for a quick geocache left me thinking "I wonder if I could get to a 5-day streak?" In what seemed like a huge deal after 122 finds in my first year of geocaching, I made it to 5 days and wondered "how about 10 days?" 10 turned into 15, then 25, then 50 -- each time thinking the next goal would surely be too much. It turned into 75 days to beat my longest slump, then 100 days, 150, and half a year. Closing in on winter and thinking certainly that would be it, I managed a daily find though the snow and darkness. One year passed and why stop then? Another summer led to another winter that certainly must stop me, but again I made it through! Two straight years with a daily find turned into "I'll try to make it to Ca$he Bash." The more I looked, the more I saw so many more I could still attempt outside of life's other commitments and I kept going, once again deep into the freeze of winter and to one of the last remaining "long range" targets -- 1,000 straight days with a find on January 28, 2018.
This one is placed to commemorate my major milestone -- and a major pain in the rear for MrsVLoopSouth -- hidden similar to most caches hidden and found by me. Bring your own scribble tool.
