This garden is located in Twin Ponds City Park, which offers washrooms and good trails that pass through areas of low forest and circle two small lakes.
The Twin Ponds Park Community Garden is a P-Patch of 38 plots started April of 2012 now maintained by volunteers for donation to local food banks. So far, over 10,000 pounds of purely organic food has been donated. Volunteer gardeners are appreciated and contributions are welcome.
Did you know that “P-Patch” is attributed to a Seattle origin?
The park has closed hours that geocachers should respect. Use the paved path and it will lead you right to the correct place. The path can become slippery when wet. Please respect the requests of the local volunteers when looking here. Please do not enter the garden shed, do not look inside any of the garden beds, or bother the gardeners themselves.
The cache has been placed with the consent of the administrator of this group. Remember to thank them for the cache, and for their efforts to grow delicious food!
