Geocache Description:

The Kennet and Avon Canal runs for 87 miles from Bristol all the way to Reading, incorporating two navigable rivers and the central canal itself. It contains a total of 105 locks and here is crossed by the A33. The towpaths lend themselves to walkers, cyclists, anglers, ramblers and dog walkers on a daily basis and the cache is located at the crossroads with one path leading towards Reading Town Centre and the other towards the Madjeski Stadium and the M4 or why not follow the towpath towards Fobney Lock to discover more caches?

The cache contains only a log. A pair of tweezers would be useful for removing the log, please be careful with the cache as it is quite delicate.

This cache forms part of a series called Holybrook Hounds in collaboration with our great geo buddies the loc8tors, all placed along a walk we frequently take with our pack of geohounds (lovingly referred to as ‘the Beagle Boys and their Bitch’)
