[EST] Palamuse meierei ehitati 1940. aastal ning see oli üks moodsamaid Eestis. Ehituse eesvedajaks ja meierei idee looja oli Franz Alekand. Projekti eelarve oli 71 300 Eesti Krooni, millest 57 348 kulus meierihoone ehitamiseks. Eesti Vabariigi ajal tootis Palamuse meierei teiste toodete hulgas ka kõrgekvaliteedilist võid mida eksporditi Inglismaale. Meierei pakkus inimestele tööd ka Nõukogude Liidu ajal. Hoone on ehitatud tellistest ning see on muinsuskaitse all. Palamuse meierei lõpetas oma töö 2000. aasta lõpuks.
Aardes ei ole pliiatsit. Koordinaadid on võetud Google Mapsist. PS: Hoone on eraomandis, ei soovita hoones kondada. Siiski aardele saab probleemideta ligi!

[ENG] Palamuse dairy was built in 1940 on Franz Alekand initiative and it was one of the most modern of its kind in Estonia at that time. Project's budget was 71 300 Estonian Kroons- 57 348 of it was spent on building the dairy itself. During the first Estonian Republic, Palamuse dairy manufactured high-quality butter that was exported to England. The dairy also gave people jobs during the Soviet Union era. The building is built from bricks and is under heritage protection. Palamuse dairy finally ended its work at the end of 2000.
