GQE – Gone Quackers Extension
One of just a few caches to complete the Gone Quackers loop. They don’t quite fit in with the main series.
Gone Quackers is a series of 10 caches with 5 other caches en route. It can be completed in a loop and you will need to go along the canal to get back to the suggested parking. The walk has no large hills but there are some nice views of the countryside around Knowle.
Please make sure to replace the cache as found and out of sight.
Parking
Parking can be found at a small car park just off Hampton Road. N52 23.837 W001 43.641
Things to note:
- When we set the walk (in January) large sections of the walk were either puddles or thick mud so come prepared!
- The walk (if doing a circular route from the suggested parking) is 4 miles.
- We recommend bringing tweezers to help get the logs out.
- If you want to do the bonus make sure you complete the series in the correct order.
