Geocache Description:

This cache was placed in celebration of the upcoming Super Blood Blue Moon, January 31, 2018.

If you are a person who suffers from Xquicophobia (pronounced sh-KEEK-o-FO-bee-a), fear of the Blood Moon, then I recommend finding it during the day, and certainly NOT on January 31, 2018. If you are more adventurous - I challenge you to find it at night.

This cache is in a little-used section of Rib Mountain State Park, There are no trails. The terrain is rocky and steep. Wear good shoes, and a walking stick might be a good addition to help with your footing.

Even if you've been just about everywhere in this park, you probably haven't been here. If you have, you know it's a cool spot and worth the hike. Getting here requires a long-ish and somewhat difficult hike over rough terrain. On the plus side, there's almost no understory, so you won't be fighting thick bushes. Just rocks. Again - there is no 'trail' to follow, unless you count the trail of geocaches that lead you out here.

You are looking for an ammo can. Gotta love it.

This is part of a new Series for us - the No Fear series. Complete this series and you will probably have to conquer some of your fears.

The cache is located in Rib Mountain State Park, and written permission has been obtained from the Park Property Manager, William H. Bursaw. Please observe park hours and do not attempt this cache if you cannot be out of the park by 11:00 pm.
