Biking around Porta a Mare in Pisa, I found these new bike paths and I decided to explore them. Then I realized I was biking on the old rails of the Il "Trammino" di Tirrenia (The "little Tram" of Tirrenia).
The old rail road that linked Pisa (GC1D5YH) to Livorno (GC1WWZ7) from the 30's until the 60's passing by Tirrenia (GC5GXVQ) has been recentely transformed and divided in various bike trails in and between the two cities.
Here we have left from 5 minutes the old terminus of Pisa and we are going towards via Livornese. Above your head it is still possible to see the old electrification structures used by the train and this can let you feel like a passenger on the old train.
In the image below you can see the old terminus of Pisa.
