Geocache Description:

Welcome to Barrington Living History Farm. The last president of Texas (as a Republic), Anson Jones, lived in this house. The farm is managed by Texas Parks & Wildlife and run by folks who dress in period clothing every day and manage the farm with period tools, animals, etc. They have special programs once a month, at least, and big events throughout the year.

Also on site is the phenomenal Star of the Republic Museum and Independence Hall with a fantastic Visitor Center and gift shop, all wonderful additions to your visit to the park. The park is open sun up to sun down, but the public buildings are open 10-4:30 or 5. You can park at the Farm, the Museum, or the Visitor Center, and walk to the cache. You do not need to pay admission to access the cache.

This cache should be fairly easy to find, but just large enough for the log.
