Tillamook Gold
Just as the Golden Spike marked the completion of the Transcontinental Railroad, so Tillamook Gold marks the completion of the Tillamook Head crossing geocache trail. Appropriately, the cache is gold!
There are now caches all the way from Indian Beach on the south to Seaside on the north.
This cache is located at the site of a massive landslide which occurred a few years back. It is on a bypass trail around the slide area.
