This cache is on Anchor Bridge, so called after the pub 'The Anchor', later known as 'The Blue Anchor' which closed its doors in 2008 and was demolished after a fire in the abandoned building. Printing House Lane is so called as it used to be home to a firm who, amongst other things, printed stamps. They had their own dock on the canal, one of several which have now been filled in. The old bridge, before being rebuilt, had a gate across it which only allowed pedestrians through; this was opened twice a day for the large numbers of employees from the nearby works.
You are looking for a large micro that should blend in to its surroundings. This is an industrial area and although the canal has its moments of beauty, be prepared for urban grime.
