This cache takes you to the primeval valley of Võhandu river. Võhandu is the longest river in Estonia, 162 km with its source in the Otepää Upland. The oldest part of the river from the Leevi milldam to the bridge of Reo is under natural protection. The protection area is 12 km long and covers 300 metres of the landscape from both banks. Out of the 38 outcrops of the protection area the biggest and most fascinating are Põdramüür (The Wall of Moose, 16.2 m of height), Viira Mill Wall (16.5 m), Sõjatare, Kalmate Wall and the highest Tsirgu Wall (17.1 m). Cache is also hiden near an outcrop. Märaläte, among other numerous springs, is the most peculiar one: water flows from the sandstone wall in two streams at heights of 1.25 and 1.4 m metres respectively. Aare viib sind Võhandu jõe ürgorgu. Võhandu on Eesti pikim jõgi, kogupikkusega 162 kilomeetrit, mille lätted asuvad Otepää kõrgustikul. Jõe ürgsem osa Leevi veskipaisust Reo sillani on võetud looduskaitse alla.Jõeorg on kitsas ja kuni 30 meetrit sügav. Paljud kärestikud ja aluspõhja paljandid, eelkõige Põdramüür kui kauneim Võhandu liivakalju, on suureks elamuseks paadimatkajale. 38-st liivakivipaljandist on suuremad ja maalilisemad Põdramüür, Viira veskimüür, Sõjatare, Kalmate müür ja kõige kõrgem Tsirgu müür (17,1 m). Ka aare on peidetud ühe paljandi juurde. Paljudest allikatest omapärasem on Märaläte: vesi voolab liivakivikaljust välja 1,25 ja 1,4 m kõrguselt kahe joana.
Aare on peidetud maast kõrgemale ja leitav iga ilmaga, lühemad inimesed võivad vajada abivahendit.
