Welkom in het Bokrijk park, één van de mooiste plekjes hier in de streek. Het is een plezier hier te vertoeven. We zijn er zeker van dat je zal genieten van de bosrijke omgeving.
Zoals verwacht is de cache niet verstopt op de gegeven coördinaten. Om deze cache te vinden zal je de Wherigo in je gekozen taal moeten downloaden en spleen. Je zal de nodige informatie verwerven gedurende het spel om uiteindelijk de cache te vinden. Alle informatie nodig, dus ook de eindcoördinaten, om de cache te vinden zal vrijkomen als je deze Wherigo volledig uitgespeeld hebt.

Deze wherigo is een prachtige (en gratis) wandeling doorheen het vrij toegankelijke park. Het is uitgestippeld langs bos en water. De cache is niet verstopt op de gegeven coördinaten. Wat je moet doen is eerst een app downloaden op je smartphone of pocket pc en een cartridge downloaden via de meegeleverde link. De Wherigo-cartridge loopt als een soort programma die reageert op je GPS signaal en je huidige positie ten opzichte van op voorhand gedefinieerde zones gedurende je wandeling. Eens je alle stappen volbracht hebt van het Wherigo programma zal je de eindcoördinaten ontvangen van een fysieke cache alsook een hint. Deze cache bevat een logbook die je dan tekent en dan kan je ook geldig loggen op de geocaching site.
De wandeling gaat niet langs het betalende museum domein, alhoewel dit museum zéér interessant is om ook te bezoeken. Deze wandeling laat u genieten van het prachtige Bokrijk park en omringende waterplassen. We hebben moeite gedaan om van de wandeling een ongelooflijk zoekavontuur en missie te maken en hopen dat u er veel plezier aan beleeft.
Schrik aub niet af van de moeilijkheidsgraad van deze Wherigo, je wordt immers goed gegidst door het programma en er zijn ook een paar veiligheidsnetten in geprogrammeerd. Eerste keer dat u een Wherigo doet? Er is een stapsgewijze gids onderaan de listing om u voor de eerste keer te helpen genieten van deze Wherigo cache.
De hoofdbedoeling van deze Wherigo Cache is in de eerste plaats u te laten genieten van het prachtige park. Daarnaast bieden we u graag dit zoekavontuur. Ook bieden we u graag eens een andere vorm van caching aan. Als vierde voordeel leiden we u ook graag langs de minder gekende waterplassen gedurende de wandeling.
De Wherigo is een relatief makkelijke en vlakke wandeling doorheen het park. Het start in de buurt van het grote ronde punt bij de opgegeven coördinaten en bied een rondje in het park met een paar verrassingen. Afhankelijk van uw ervaring neemt het ongeveer 60 tot 90 minuten.
Goede volledig geladen batterijen zijn essentieel. Een externe batterij is aangeraden maar niet noodzakelijk. Het zou spijtig zijn als je batterij plat gaat gedurende de wandeling. Als er problemen zijn met de Wherigo laat het ons weten?

Dit is een verhaal van jou als schattenjager die aan de hand van een zoektocht zaken zal verzamelen en gebruiken. Je zal verschillende items verwerven en nodig hebben gedurende je avontuurlijke zoektocht. Gedurende je tocht zal je ook kaarten en codes verzamelen om deze kaarten te kunnen gebruiken. Een van de belangrijkste zaken is bij een sleutelmaker je sleutel te laten smeden om de schat te kunnen openen. Er gebeurt van alles onderweg en je zal een paar personages tegen komen.
Deze Wherigo zoektocht naar de schat die we je nu toevertrouwen zal één van je belangrijkste missies ooit worden. Je zal door ravijnen moeten met koorden, gevaarlijke rivieren doorkruisen, moeten oppassen voor gevaarlijke wilde dieren, puzzels oplossen en je overlevingstalenten moeten gebruiken.
Deze missie leidt je ook langs poelen en waterlopen, de Wherigo is er mee verweven en zal je naar plaatsen brengen waar je al lang van droomt. Qua schoeisel volstaan normale wandelschoenen. Breng wel je pen mee!
De Bokrijk Wherigo zoektocht kan gespeeld worden met de meeste smartphones voorzien van een GPS en de bijhorende app die je kan downloaden van de Wherigo site. De precisie van uw GPS in uw smartphone moet wel redelijk zijn. Op een Ipad of tablet kan dit spel ook gespeeld worden. Laat ons weten als je problemen hebt om de Wherigo te laden. Het kan ook op een Garmin Origen of Colorado gespeeld worden maar dat is niet getest. Voor een goede ervaring raden we u het gebruik van een smart phone aan.

Wherigo handleiding
Start met het installeren van een wherigo player of app op je smart phone. Voor Android raden we je "WhereYouGo" aan. Voor apple is dit "Wherigo". Meer hulp voor andere types van apparaten kan je ons vragen via mail.

Bij of na de download zet je het bestand in de folder van de wherigo app. Op de Wherigo site staan ook instructies hiervoor.
Dan open je de app en selecteer "Start". Een keuzelijst van cartridges verschijnt. Indien de keuzelijst dit Bokrijk avontuur niet toont dan staat het bestand niet in de juiste folder. In de keuzelijst kies je dan de correcte cartridge en het verhaal begint. Daarna zou het verloop van het spel zichzelf moeten uitwijzen.
De app laat je toe op kaart te navigeren (onze voorkeur) maar je kan ook op kompas (met richting en afstand) lopen om te navigeren naar de volgende zone.
Bij ELKE locatie of zone is het belangrijk om de “You See” menu te bekijken om de plaatselijke items te verzamelen. Check “You See' items om zeker te zijn dat je alles hebt om naar de volgende locatie of zone te gaan.
Je kan ook de “Tasks” menu controleren om te zien wat je nog moet doen en de vooruitgang van het spel te zien.
Soms is de precisie van de GPS wat beperkt om een binnengekomen zone correct en tijdig te identificeren. Neem dus naargelang je tijd. En soms hebben smart phones wat moeite om de allereerste zone te herkennen. Dan kan je best het apparaat herstarten.
Blijft het moeilijk gaan, laat het ons weten. Je kan in de app ons profiel aanklikken om een mailtje of boodschap te sturen.
Vergeet natuurlijk niet om van de omgeving en het avontuur te genieten.

Welcome to the Bokrijk park one of the most Special and Beautiful places to us. Every moment shared here is a complete privilege. Trust you able to soak up and enjoy any bit of the beauty you can and that is the most important thing.
The cache is not hidden at the coordinates provided. To find the cache, you need to download and play the related Wherigo below available in different languages which will provide you with the information you need to find the cache. All the information needed to find the final container is provided when you complete the Wherigo, including the final coordinates.

This cache is a lovely free route through the park. It is designed to have lots of fun through around the water and along the waters edge. The cache is not hidden at the coordinates provided. How it works is that you download an app on your phone or pocket pc device and then you download the cartridge from the link provided. It then runs like a program going through the story triggered by the GPS signal when you enter each zone along the walk. Once you complete the Wherigo program you will receive the final coordinates to the physical cache and the hint. You need to find and sign the logbook in order to be able to log the cache.
There is absolutely no entrance fee and absolutely no access fee in order to complete this cache. This tremendously scare rare cache is an Awesome walk through the Bokrijk park and all along the waters edge of this amazing park. We have specially invested a copious amount of time into making it an Incredible Adventure Mission Quest that will be thoroughly enjoyed by all.
Please do not shy away from the type and rating of cache as you will be guided and there are programming safety nets in place. At the bottom of this cache listing is a step by step assistance for cachers enjoying a wherigo cache for the first time or wanting to brush up on how a wherigo cache works in practice.
The intended value of this particular Wherigo Cache is to firstly share some the magnificence and stunning tranquillity of the area and park. Secondly to be wrapped up in the adventure. Thirdly to enjoy caching in a new dimension. Fourthly to also get to enjoy water as you walk the journey.
The Wherigo is a flat walk but very healthy walk on dry land through the park. It starts at listed coordinates near the Circle and is a great tour through and around the park with plenty of surprises. Depending on the skill level it should take between 60-90 min.
Fully charged batteries are essential. Battery packs are recommended but not essential. You would not want your devices to go flat on you part way through the journey. If you have any problems playing this one, please let us know.

This is a story of you as a Treasure hunter who is venturing on a quest collecting and delivering large amount of items. You will need various of the specialized equipment items collected along this amazing adventure. Your journey includes collecting maps and ciphers and decrypting the maps. One of the essential quests will be getting to the keysmith to forge a key for your final treasure. There are various great characters along the way and you will have plenty keeping you occupied along the journey.
The Wherigo quest will be the most important Treasure Hunting Adventure Mission Quest you have ever been entrusted with. You will need to cross ravines with rope, navigate a river, survive the dangers of wildlife that lurk, face puzzles, water falls, lean on your survival training and more.
Your Adventure Mission Quest will take you all along the waters edge of the Bokrijk park, where the environment has been woven into your quest, taking you to places you can only dream of. Shoes of any variety are adequate however shoes you can walk the distance are advised. It is essential to bring along a pen.
The Bokrijk Adventure Wherigo cartridge can be played on most GPS enabled mobile phones using a downloadable wherigo player / app. Just make sure your GPS accuracy on your smart phone is above average! It can also be played on an Ipad or tablet. Please let us know if you have any problems. It can also be played on a Garmin Origen or Colorado although we have not been able to test it on those units yet. For a rich experience, use a smart phone.

Wherigo "How to" Guidance
Start by installing a wherigo player on your smart phone. For Android the best app is called "WhereYouGo". For apple the best app is called "Wherigo". More guidance on other devices can be provided on Request.
Then download the Bokrijk Adventure cartridge from the Wherigo Site.

Then move the file from the downloads folder into the folder of the wherigo app.
Then you can open the app and select "Start". It will then give you a selection of cartridges to choose from. If the cartridge you downloaded in not amungst the options then it is not in the correct folder. When you have selected the correct cartrdge from the "Start" selection then you may begin the story. The operating of the story should be self explanatory from there. However there are a few things to note and look out for.
When navigating I prefer to use the in app map to navigate from zone to zone. However the alternative is if you prefer you can use your in app compass to show you the direction and distance to the following zone.
At EVERY location it is essential to check your “You See” menu to collect items that are there. Check “You See' items to make sure you have completed everything before setting off for the next location.
You can also check your “Tasks” menu to see what needs to be done and check your progress along the way.
There should be no lag but depending on device there might be slight delays in things being triggered. There has been the occasional challenge where some smart phones are not triggering when entering the first zone. Restart the device and it has been noted that this has corrected the challenge.
