This cache has been created by BSA Troop 718. Its primary purpose is to teach Scouts about GPS navigation and geocaching.
In order to earn the Geocaching Merit Badge, one of the things a scout can do is create a trackable item that promotes the values of scouting.
A Scout is; Trustworthy, Loyal, Helpful, Friendly, Courteous, Kind, Obedient, Cheerful, Thrifty, Brave, Clean, Reverent
This cache will be used as a launching point for Travel bugs and resting place for Travel bugs that are looking for a temporary home. Troop 718 is an active group of scouts that promotes outdoor and camping activities. We go on monthly campouts throughout the year, both in our region and across the country. Our scouts learning about geocaching will have many great opportunities to move Travel Bugs to a lot of great locations.
Our Troop is chartered by Faith Community Church and welcomes all visitors. Sunday Services begin at 10am, please use stealth when searching during service hours.
