The cache
is not at the listed coordinates. Please solve the puzzle below to find
the actual location.
This is one of two new photo caches
that replace and upgrade
GC24K9T - Astoria Riverwalk Photo Cache.
Its partner is
Astoria Riverwalk East.
---------------------------------------------------------------
To find the cache, you will need to solve a puzzle based on photographs
taken along the Columbia River in Astoria, Oregon.
Start at the listed coordinates. This is the Columbia River Maritime
Museum. Parking is available. After finding the first photo,
continue by walking west.
The photographs below were taken along a
one mile section of the riverfront
between the Museum and the Maritime Memorial Park.
This is a very enjoyable, scenic and historic walk (the "Riverwalk").
It also makes a fantastic bike ride.
Your goal will be to
locate the site each photo was taken from. When you find a site, read the
question below the photo. You should be able to answer the question by
looking around the area near the photo site.

The cache is at:

W 123 50.YYY
Checksum: The total of the 15 digits of the coordinates should be 59.
Take a well-earned seat at the Memorial Park and plug in the coordinates for the
cache. You can find it on the way back to the Museum. Since this is
a popular trail, please be discreet when retrieving the cache.
