This puzzle cache is dedicated to sixbearsclan.
So, I met sixbearsclan (again) at a recent event and he explained how he wanted to see more logic puzzles. I took this as a challenge and decided to hide one. Of course, my hope is that sixbearsclan would be the FTF on this one but, now, that is part of the challenge, isn't it. Good luck ;) I hope this serves as a decent enough logic puzzle for you.
The Puzzle:
A problem has occurred and there is now a disagreement on who the FTF is on a local geocache. The log has been lost and confusion ensues. Can you figure out the order that each cacher claimed their smiley?
1. Of the cacher wearing a red shirt and Beth, one found the cache second and the other is from Maplewood.
2. The cacher from Maplewood is either wearing a green shirt or is the one who found the cache fifth.
3. The cacher from Eagan is either wearing a blue shirt or a yellow shirt.
4. Karen, the cacher wearing a red shirt, the fourth finder, and the cacher wearing a purple shirt are all different people.
5. The cacher wearing a yellow shirt found the cache 1 person ahead of the cacher from Maplewood.
6. David isn't wearing a red shirt.
7. Of the cacher that found it first and the cacher from Woodbury, one is John and the other is wearing a purple shirt.
8. The cacher that found it sixth is not from New Brighton
9. The person wearing a purple shirt found the cache 1 person behind the cacher from Saint Paul.
10. The person wearing a purple shirt found the cache 1 person ahead of the cacher from Roseville.
11. Rhonda is not from New Brighton.
12. The cacher that found it fifth, Rhonda, and the cacher wearing a purple shirt are three different people.
13. John, the cacher wearing a green shirt, and the cacher that finished fourth are three different people.
14. Karen is from Roseville.
