Willkommen beim Vogelstimmenerkennspiel!


Beim Geocachen in der freien Natur hören wir oft Vogellaute. Aber können wir sie auch zuordnen? Bei diesem Wherigo wirst du auf einem Spaziergang durch den Spitalbergwald verschiedene Vogelstimmen zu hören bekommen. Deine Aufgabe ist es, sie zu erkennen.

Achtung: Dieser Wherigo funktioniert nur auf Smartphones (Android, IPhone oder Microsoft), leider nicht mit Garmin-Geräten!

Nach dem Download kannst du bereits zu Hause einen Soundtest durchführen, um sicher zu gehen, dass dein Gerät geeignet ist. Begib dich dann zu den Headerkoordinaten. Dort erfährst du den Ablauf des Spiels.

Achte am Weg zur jeweils sichtbaren Stage auf Vogelstimmen aus deinem Gerät. Hast du sie erkannt? Wenn ja, wähle aus dem Dropdownmenü den richtigen Vogel aus. Falls du richtig geantwortet hast, wird die nächste Stage freigeschaltet. Wenn nicht, macht auch nichts, geh einfach weiter, die Vogelstimme kommt noch einmal. Eine dritte Chance bekommst du direkt an der aktiven Stage.

Welcome to the Birds' Voices Recognition Game!


When geocaching in the wild, we often hear bird sounds. But can we also assign them? With this Wherigo you will hear different bird voices on a walk through the Spitalbergwald. Your job is to recognize them.

First download the cartridge:

Attention: This Wherigo only works on smartphones (Android, IPhone oder Microsoft), unfortunately not with Garmin devices!

After the download, you can already do a sound test at home to make sure that your device is suitable. Then go to the header coordinates. There you will learn the course of the game.

Moving to the visible stage listen for bird sounds from your device. Did you recognize it? If so, choose the right bird from the drop-down menu. If you answered correctly, the next stage will be unlocked. If not, do not worry, just keep going, the bird's voice will come again. You will get a third chance directly at the active stage.
