Near to a sandstone memorial to local shepherd Ben Wilson of Holmshaw, who died on 11th August 1897 having been struck by lightning. The lettering is fading and soon will be gone completely, but the tall stone still stands proudly nearby.
This is our first cache, a good-sized tupperware container. Our son left his favourite blue whale.
