Geocache Description:

A pretty little trail to a pretty little spot. (This is the same cache as "Torquay's Oldest Resident," which was archived.)

Note: You do not have to leave the trail/bridge at any point, even if it seems as though you do.

The cache is out of reach, but the plants here are protected and there is a method of getting the cache without taking a single step off the trail.

Once you park, cross over the road and turn right. The trailhead is a bit ahead on your left. Although people do bike along part of the trail, the cache requires you to go down steps.

The Deep Creek Nature Reserve consists of a trail next to a gully in which a creek runs to the sea. There are lots of different birds along the trail, as well as signs that tell you about the plant and animal life around you. A lot of the plants are indigenous and protected, and are no longer found elsewhere around Torquay. Although the reserve is quite close to houses, you can sometimes feel as though you're deep in the woods.

You are looking for a half-litre container, painted brown.

The container may be out of reach, but there is a way to get the container without setting foot in the bush. Please do not trample the plants.

Usually very light traffic. Some stealth.
