Many waterfalls including the famous Deungseon Waterfall are located 80km north of Seoul and 10km southwest of Chucheon. they are inside Geumgang slot canyon a 100m valley along the Gyeongchun National Highway, perfect for a short trip or one-day tour course from Seoul, Gyeonggi, or Incheon areas. Coming from Seoul it can beeasily reached by ITX train from Yongsan Station to Gangchon Station.
This is a small canyon leading up Samak Mountain with many small waterfalls showing off the beauty of Korean Mountains. It is well worth a day trip to get away from the hustle and bustle of the big city to enjoy amazing sights.
