The cache is not at the listed co-ordinates! You have to solve a puzzle first.
I chose the novel “Slaughterhouse-Five” as the title of this cache, because this cache is a tribute to my home town of Lyneham where my house is, and it’s my favourite book with the word “house” or “home." A bit of a tenuous connection, I know :D
Did you know that Lyneham is named after NSW premier Sir William Lyne (1844-1913)? The Bulletin described Lyne as “Among the men who can claim by merit or accident, to be front-rank politicians of Australia, Lyne stands out conspicuously as almost the dullest and most ordinary.”
Well Lyneham is certainly not the most dullest and most ordinary suburb of the ACT. Lyneham pretty much has it all; proximity to the City, proximity to the eateries at Dickson, access to the light rail, access to the bike path.
If you want a nice serene place to go to feed the ducks, you might find some at Lyneham wetlands.

If you are interested in connecting with the community, Lyneham has a secret little community food forest with a nearby geocache ;)

If you are looking for a nice place to eat, Lyneham shops has the iconic Tilley’s Devine Cafe and Gallery, and The Front, as well as some small cuisine restaurants. Not too far away from them is The Old Canberra Inn.

If historic churches are your thing, St. Ninian’s Church is the second oldest church in Canberra.

If you are sporty, Lyneham has the National Hockey Centre, Canberra Racecourse, the ACT Netball Centre, Next Gen, Yowani Golf Course, and Southwell Park ovals.

With all these attractions there have been plenty of geocaches hidden in this thriving little suburb. I have hidden another little geocache to be found. You can find it by deciphering the puzzle below.
Slaughterhouse-Five is a novel with an absurdist and cryptic narrative. My puzzle is a bit cryptic as well. In order to get the final co-ordinates, you will need to solve the following. Remember, if your final co-ordinates do not place you in Lyneham then something is wrong.
- Bluff I very cleverly hide.
-
Unsportsmanlike activity at last changes direction.
- The German declines, so I hear!
- A no interest loan always starts with this.
-
There is a mixed-up number!
- Square toes? Work that out!
-
Sounds like it could be your strength.
-
Ten in reverse hides a number, but it’s not one!
-
Nine or under goes higher to start.
- What number is the high speed from heights?
- Bulldozer over what’s concealed.
- Les leaves his towels rearranged.
- Take a litre out of ground wheat.
The cache is a nano, so you’ll need to bring a pen. The cache is hidden in a high-traffic area so please be stealthy like a ninja! All the places I mentioned above can be found at the waypoints attached, but you don't need to follow this path to get to the cache - I just included them in this listing if you want to visit any of these areas. I hope you enjoy this little area of LYNEHAM!

Congratulations on your 100th FTF The Flintstones! That's a page right out of history!
