About Haslemere Station

Photo in public domain by Bashereyre,

Haslemere railway station is a major station on the London to Portsmouth rail route, between Witley station to the north and Liphook station to the south.

There are four trains an hour to London Waterloo, two of them express services.

Locally, rumours exist that there are more first class ticket holders commuting from Haslemere than anywhere else in the country and that, before the car park extension was completed, there was a nine year waiting list for a space. No one has been able to confirm these facts.
