Crews Cemetery Historic Texas Cemetery - Texas Historical Commission - Est. 1902
Before the year 1904, the people of the Crews Community used either Atoka, Midway, or Glen Cove Cemeteries. As the population increased, they saw the need of a cemetery. About 1904 Mr R.C. Perry gave the land on the NE corner of his land to be used as a cemetery.
My Grandparents helped take care of this cemetery many many years. I can remember coming and helping them on workdays as I was growing up.
My sister and I both love to geocache when we have time and were always surprised there has never been one here as there are 2 not far from here. We wanted to add one here. PLEASE be respectful we have many friends and family here.
