A little stroll from the Mountainbiking parking area with a descent on sloping ground to the final coordinates.
The Greenwood was always known locally as a great place to walk but is now know nationally as the trail centre for the Ballyhoura mountain Biking Trails.The start of the walk to the cache is on the Ballyhoura way which stretches 90km from Liscarrol in North Cork to Limerick Junction in County Tipperary. This now forms part of the Ireland Way Trail Route; a 900km route from Castletownbere in County Cork to Ballycastle in County Antrim.
