So I was chatting with attendees at the "Australia" events last weekend and heard, more than once, that they were running out of Winter Friendly caches to find in order to keep their streak alive or fill in their calendar dates.  I remember what that was like back when I did my streak in 2010-2011.  It was the year of the epic snowfall (30 cm on January 8-9, 2011 and it just kept coming all winter long) and miserably cold temperatures (-20 to -25 C range and that didn't stop either). I thought I'd offer some support.
