"Ja Swaer!" Cache
This cache has been placed at the rear of an old movie set. It was used for a number of TV film shows and also, which it was more famously known for, a series [over a number of years] of automotive additive advertisements that captured the South Africans who saw them. Even though they haven't been aired for many years there are few who do not remember them! Yes, those adverts were filmed here and NOT in the middle of the Kalahari Desert as the adverts portrayed! If you are really keen to refresh your memory you will find the adverts on the internet on a website that resembles a pipe.
Although this cache is located on private property along with a number of other caches - the necessary permission was obtained from the required people - it can be accessed fairly easily, but some formalities do need to be complied with for obvious security reasons. Should you not be staying at the reserve you will need to do the following as day visitors are not allowed. At the gate you need to tell them you are going to the restaurant at Reception at the main camp. This is important as you will NOT be allowed out again at the main gate unless you have been issued with an official pass-out which will be issued by the Reception staff at the main camp.
NOTE: This cache is only available during the following hours - 06h00 to 17h00. Access is not available during darkness.
