A nice little hidey hole in the middle of the forest, hmmmm what could I use this for?
These caches are part of the bee line series, and as we all know the bees never travel in a straight line. If you do a loop starting at power line parking area and the main road and go through the hiking only area and then back down ranch house road and then back to the power line parking it is about a 5 to 6 mile hike.
This hiking trail can only be accessed via hikers because of the rooting done by the hogs. The trail is narrow, tree lined and shady and clearly marked to make it a nice hike, but be careful of all the holes on the road. It is not impossible to push a bike through here, but it would take a lot of work and effort. Plus while you can push it through, it is kind of frowned upon by the rangers to take it in there because they don’t want you riding it. If you get caught riding it in the hiking trails you can be asked to leave the park. So just be aware of the rules.
Please make sure to take adequate amounts of water and bug spray depending on the time of year.
Please take a few seconds to close the container properly. What takes you a few seconds to do, saves us from spending hours and $$$$ replacing swag, logs and containers. Also please re-hide as well as you found it or better so it doesn't get muggled. Thanks!
