Israel's wind-farms combine state of the art energy technology with nature's beauty. The Maale Gilboa wind-farm is one of two that were built in the north for the purpose of harnessing the energy from the wind to produce electricity. Wind-farms are currently the most rapidly developing field within the renewable energy sector. Afcon holdings is building two wind-farms with 25 turbines, which will create electricity by harnessing the power of wind. Afcon holdings, which is part of the SHLOMO GROUP, can produce 21 megawatts of electricity at any given moment. Afcon holdings has said that the completion of the project will fulfill the vision of Shlomo Schmeltzer.
