The event will start at 10am at Leitrim Lodge carpark N54.09.887 W006.07.590 and finish at 10.30am. A walk then will take place at 10.30, it is a loop walk that starts and finishes at the event coordnates and is approximatly 7k in length, there is about 250m of accent and will take around 3 hours to complete, the walk is on a good stoned track for the first 2k then a single track for 1k to a wall, you then follow the wall up the 250m climb to the high point of the walk, the rest is all down hill on grassy and good stoney track to the finish, i would recomend good walking boots with good grip, as we will be out on the open mountain you should have warm clothes, wet gear, food and water with you. NO DOGS are permitted on the walk by order of the Trustees of Batts Estate as the walk is on their lands, there are 5 caches on or near the paths and will be 8 new caches on the day.
