This cache is located in the grassland on the UKZN Agriculture campus. The University of KwaZulu-Natal was officially created in January 2004. Prior to that, it was known as the University of Natal, which opened it's doors to students in 1910 as the Natal University College. Notable students who attended the university include Alan Paton (writer), Shaun Pollock (cricketer) and Colin Moss (actor).
Be careful when going to find this cache as you may run across students on their way to and from lectures, as this field is the quickest way back to the residence. You may also come across people walking their dogs in the mornings and afternoons. If you bring your dog along, please make sure that they are on a leash and that you clean up after them.
Please note that there is no access via Golf Road (even though there is a road on the map), so use the Carbis Road entrance, where there is a visitors parking lot. Walk through the boom gate to access the cache.
