Geocache Description:

The Scissor-tailed Flycatcher is the state bird of Oklahoma. An insectivorous bird that sallies out from a perch (tree branch, wire, or post) to catch insects on the wing. Both sexes have long tails, but the male’s is especially long. I studied the foraging behavior and activity patterns of this bird for two years in central Texas.
