There are a lot of great caches in Galena. Unfortunately there is limited room for more. But we need more caches for our visitors. My answer is to surround Galena with caches. Project GC tracks caches found by owner. I am working on finding 100 caches from each of 20 owners. I think it is only fair that I have 100 caches for them to find. I need about 50 more hides to end up with over 100 active caches. What is a number around 50? 52 - a Deck of Cards!
I will place caches 4 at a time. I will try to add interesting information about each. All the history in Galena is not in town. I hope you enjoy this series.
The 3s are my Miner Caches. There are several Miner Roads and it can get confusing. I think it is cool. They intersect too. Enjoy the loop from W Stagecoach Road.
The 3 of Hearts is located on NW Miner Road. The loop is completed. The farm at the bottom of the hill is where my cousin Leroy lived. We always came out to get watercress from the spring below the house. I don't know who lives there now.
