I've always been fascinated by Hot Springs. I had no idea that there were so many around here. Did you know that there are more than 300 Hot Springs in Nevada?
I've visited quite a few of these over these last couple of years.
I decided to go see what one of those nearby ones looked like that was sitting on public land. Unfortunately this one doesn't have a pool you can soak in.
This Geocache container is located close to one of the sources. You can park within a few meters/yards from the hide. Quick and easy grab. Enjoy!
The source here will be at 150°F or about 65°C when the pump is running.
The other source nearby that I found was measuring 84°F when it was 34°F outside.
