Welcome to Wunderlich Park. This property was previously owned by James A Folger II, who went into the coffee business. However, the beautiful stone walls both near the cache, and behind the Victorian Barn, were built by a previous owner, Simon Jones. There is a plaque near the walls above the barn.
I used to ride a horse that was boarded here. We rode all the trails except one, but that's a long story. The barn is fantastic, and used to have pink marble baseboards.
The "Carriage Room Museum" inside the barn is open to the public once a week on Saturdays, and is worth visiting.
The cache is located near a circular stone wall sitting area, with 3 benches. Even though it is situated right near several the high-traffic areas, with a walkway passing by, I never see people sitting here, except for me. It's one of my favorite spots. I hope you get to sit a while and enjoy it too.
