There are a lot of great caches in Galena. Unfortunately there is limited room for more. But we need more caches for our visitors. My answer is to surround Galena with caches. Project GC tracks caches found by owner. I am working on finding 100 caches from each of 20 owners. I think it is only fair that I have 100 caches for them to find. I need about 50 more hides to end up with over 100 active caches. What is a number around 50? 52 - a Deck of Cards!
I will place caches 4 at a time. I will try to add interesting information about each. All the history in Galena is not in town. I hope you enjoy this series.
The 4s are all on W Buckhill Road. It is a winding road so enjoy the scenery.
The 4 of Hearts is located at the intersection of N Council Hill Road and Buckhill Road. Actually you can get to Council Hill by taking either one. Buckhill Road is shorter but Council Hill Road is much faster. This intersection is the West end of Buckhill road. The east end of Buckhill Road is the intersection with W Miner Road where the 3 of Clubs is located.
