Civil issues are no laughing matter. The 14th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution guarantees our individual right of due process under law. The service of process issued within our court systems gives us our constitutionally protected day in court and allowing a court to exercise jurisdiction over a matter.
Civil Sections within Sheriff's Offices are charged under Florida law with serving process from the courts. Downtown Sanford is the home for both the Civil Courthouse and the Civil Section for the Sheriff's Office. Located along beautiful Lake Monroe, both buildings have been a prominent fixture in the City of Sanford, the county seat, for more than 50 years.
From family matters to replevins, evictions and levies, Civil Sections handle them all.
