What ? - 10th Birthday Party & 80’s School Disco
After all the running around and excitement of our afternoon Sports Day, it’s time to head down for the 80’s Disco. Were you a New Romantic; into Spandau Ballet, The Human League and Duran Duran? Maybe you were more into a bit of SKA; Madness, Bad Manners or The Specials? Who’s posters did you have on your bedroom wall that you’d carefully unstapled from your ‘Smash Hits’ or ‘Jackie’ magazine?
Were you one of the quiet ones, in the corner of the gym with your cup of orange squash? Or did you really go for it, strutting your stuff on the dance floor, breakdancing to the West Street Mob’s Electric Boogie, or raving to Voodoo Ray? Did you and your mates all run for the dance floor when you heard the intro playing for Soft Cell’s Tainted Love, or go and sit down when Salt-N-Pepper’s Push It came on? What ever your 80’s favourite, our legendary in-house DJ will be sure to play it and have you up dancing.
Whether you were a Mod, a Goth, Punk or you had permed hair, huge shoulder pads, rah-rah skirts and leg warmers, or maybe you strutted the Miami Vice white jacket and trousers look, tonight is your night! Rummage about in the back of your wardrobe and dust off your best 80’s outfit for tonight’s disco and dance like you’re 14 again! (smoking and heavy petting is not permitted behind the bike shed).
Our fabulous caterers will be out in force with a mouth watering selection of food to satiate your appetite.
Food orders will be pre-order through the Mega shop, full details will be posted later on this page. Get your “will attend” logged to ensure you receive updates and notifications – we’ve so much planned for you and will keep you updated.
Not forgetting the bar, which will be open serving a range of fantastic ales, gins, soft drinks and wines.
