Whittlesey Town Centre has about 20 caches of various types and it is getting very hard to find an available location for new ones. This cache is part of my semi-serious mission to have the whole of Whittlesey covered by overlapping 528' circles!
The C A Jacobs Memorial Gates were erected in memory of Alderman Jacobs, a farmer of Whittlesey, following his death in 1957.
Alderman Jacobs (who also has a school named after him) was also a Justice of the Peace and a great philanthropist of Whittlesey.
This cache is accessible from outside the gates and can be reached from a wheelchair. Please replace as found.
